🔒 Important Security Upgrade for Your DENIS Online Account. 🔒
At DENIS, protecting your account and data is our top priority. We're implementing an essential security upgrade to give your account an extra layer of defence.
What is Happening?
Starting December 1st, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) will be enabled on all DENIS Online accounts.
This means you will use two forms of verification to log in, making it much harder for unauthorised users to access your information, even if your password is compromised.
How Your Login Will Change
-
Enter Credentials & Get Code:
Enter your normal Username and Password into the fields. Instead of seeing a "Login" button, you will click the "SEND LOGIN CODE" button.
-
Check Your Registered Email:
A unique, One-Time Password (OTP) will be instantly generated and sent to the email address registered with your DENIS account. (SAMPLE BELOW)
-
Verify Your Identity:
Check your registered email inbox, copy the OTP code, and paste it into the "OTP" field that appears on the DENIS Online screen.
-
Access Granted:
Once the correct OTP is entered, you will be securely logged into your DENIS Online account.
📧 IMPORTANT: Where Your OTP Will Be Sent
Please read the following carefully to ensure you have access to the correct email address:
-
For Members: DENIS uses the registered main member's email address you provided to your Medical Scheme.
- DENIS cannot change this email address. If your email address has changed, you will need to contact your Medical Scheme Administrator to update it. Once updated this will be passed onto DENIS.
-
For Practices: (with Active Practice numbers on Board of Health Care Funders (BHF) File): DENIS uses your registered email address you provided and on record at BHF. If your email address has changed, you will need to contact the BHF to update it and this will be passed onto DENIS.
- Please confirm you have access to your registered email address before December 1st.
- Thank you for helping us keep your account secure!
